Pungirls: the number one cause of blindness in my mom. Man, the text is hardly even legible.

Of all my strips to date, I am probably the least pleased with this one, aesthetically. At least I had fun drawing Rene Descartes.

SECRET FIFTH PANEL! KAREN: Very funny, God. GOD: I'm not kidding.

You can tell this is a very serious artistic work that deals profoundly with the human experience and the tension between doubt and faith. It was probably obvious from the comic about the talking beet.

Pungirls! #5

Karen's line in the last frame was originally going to be, 'what a tool!' But I wanted to keep this Pungirls! strip rated at least below a PG-13, so I went with a significantly more oblique reference. Probably my favorite part of this strip is how the girls are discussing Becky's DATE WITH A CORDLESS DRILL like there's nothing weird about it at all.

Yeah, you remember Decker, right?
Quite frankly, I'm really pleased with this strip; with the possible exception of the first strip, I think it's my best one to date. But what do you think? This is a blog, and we have a comment button there, so why not let us know what you think of the comics? Tell us what's working and what's not so funny. Seriously, we'd dig some feedback, bigtime!
